Thinking of ADDING an AUTHORIZATION onto existing Multp Subj Cred

Posted 19 days ago Hello... I hold my multiple subject CLEAR credential. I live in LA ~ where there has been a hiring freeze for teachers. I have 4 years of teaching experience and the elementary level... but, I have been out of the field now for 2 and a half years. I am curious if anyone could suggest ways in which to make myself more marketable? I am currently working as a corporate flight attendant... It's been an amazing job -- Ive gotten to see tha world and been able to trvel to exotic places on a private jet. But, after two years of constant travel... I am ready to get back to my passion... TEACHING... Now if I could only find a job :( Anyone here have experience with adding on an authorization to your existing credential? As I understand it can be done in one of two ways 1. Pass the CSET in desired subject 2. Complete Methodolgy courses in desired subject. Option two just seems like it would take so long... Has anyone had success taking and passing the CSET for adding on an authorization? If so, how did you prepare? Did you attend a prep-class?
