Posted about 1 month ago Budgets are tight at schools, but if teachers are to keep their jobs, more cutting needs to be made in various districts around the country.
What would your reccommendation be to cut school cost? Write in your suggestion(s) here: |

| Posted about 1 month ago I work in an urban district and title one school. Our district gets a lot of money but I believe the money is being mismanaged. Other school in my district, the teachers get some kind of budget for supplies we work in the same district but are told "there is no money" This leads me to the strong belief money is mismanaged.in my particular school. Since being hired as a teacher, I have become much more fiscally conservative and realize our state needs an internal affairs department routing out money mismanagement and corruption |

| Posted 29 days ago Interesting question! A couple quick thoughts... 1) Stop paying administrators salaries that are too high. 2) Fewer administrators at some levels. Sometimes it seems we have too many administrators at certain levels. This is also true at the state level. 3) Stop building new schools when current schools can still be used. If they are unsafe, that is one thing. It is another when we have buildings that can still be used until districts are in better economic shape. Do we get new cars just because it looks nicer or has more extras? |
