Posted about 1 month ago Creating a classroom survey can be a very interesting project for your classroom. It can be as complicated or easy as you'd like. Here's a typical plan: 1. Pick a topic. 2. Create questions. Usually, yes or no answers are best. 3. Survey the people...in person (your students, parents, teachers, etc.) or send out a mailing. 4. Tabulate the results. 5. Create some kind of publication that explains your results. Make sure the parents and anyone who was surveyed gets a copy of the results. Students, of course, will do most of the work. Years ago, my students actually sent a survey to the 50 governors. A majority of the governors responded. Here's what the final result looked like. Incidentally, we used Apple II computers (back in 1986) with software called Newsroom.
