I began my Creative Reading classes when I discovered a student was having a difficult time responding to the lesson. This particular student seemed to only react to familiar situations . At that moment, I decided to paint a scenario which she/he could relate to based on my own observations of their behavior patterns and interactions with other classmates.  This technique worked so well with that one particular student I decided to implement this style of teaching into all of my lesson plans. As a result, it has tremendously improved my students reading skills.
