Poll: Is there free participation in law and policy of a country?

Do we still have the right to choose and vote freely in nowadays policy as we are people of that' country?


Do we have full contribution in law?


We can see many differences everywhere in the world.. from these we cqn judge...

It depends, of course, on the country. In the USA, while we have the right to choose and vote freely in elections, it's amazing (and sad) how many people choose NOT to choose (i.e. don't vote.)


Since the USA is a democratic republic, we elect representatives (congress-people and, of course, the president) to propose and enact the laws.
