If you had no financial hurdles to cross and could get any one technology or teaching tool in your classroom, what would it be and why?  Also mention for what grade...

I think it'd just be great to have a computer for everyone to use, not all day, but at least have access to them when you wanted.

So, possibly a laptop cart which could be shared between a few classrooms or within a team of teachers....   Thanks for the reply!

 Dear singh1,

"Money can buy anything in this world."

I'm afraid I disagree - it can't buy honor, integrity, love and, of course, happiness, to name just a few.

The ultimate tool for the classroom is the iPhone or equivalent. Ultimately, all students and teachers will be using them. Notebooks and textbooks will not be needed any longer. Videos/Podcasts will be stored and made. Althought there will be resistance...it is clearly the future of education.

I'm sure something has been posted in another forum by you about the iPhone; but couldn't find anything.

I just received IPhone as a gift from my husband!!!  Excellent organizer!  I LOVE IT!

Please do tell...how could I use it as a tool in the classroom?  (Kindergarten)?

fast computer, big projection screen, document camera, smart board, wireless microphone.

ps. an iphone is like having a computer at your finger tips. Alone, it is almost useless for primary children.

You might be right, but I'd double-check ebay and craigslist, just in case.
