How tohelp a shy student make a friend?

Posted about 1 year ago I was asked in an interview how to make a quiet student make a friend? My response was that to observe who she played w/ in class or whoeve she is more talkative with, and in recess l would take a toy and ask them to play with each other...and l would join them until they feel comfortable with each other to be left alone. Is that a good answer? |

| Posted about 1 year ago Boost him or her up in front of other students. Talk to them with other children around. Make them feel comfortable and they'll open up! It can take time but it works. |

| Posted about 1 year ago Contrary to the cliche...likes attract. It may take a while but they get together. As one who was (and is) very shy (yes, it's true) I'd prefer to be left alone. |
