The newest version of iPods are in...and better than ever. They have the potential to be the best thing for education since chicken soup. You can use an iPod for podcasts, video, and even text.

I love toys and this is another one of my favorites. Many applications in the classroom, from viewing podcasts on any topic to creating tests and downloading my Powerpoints for students to discuss. Great tool also to record, if you have a Belkin Microphone, to connect to iPod, .....classroom uses: students can record sounds, sight words, complete interviews, stories,...endless. then you can download this recordings into iTunes and ...there you have it, you can then use the recordings for your PwPts or Movies(Moviemaker, Photostory, iMovie, Adobe, etc). For me it is not just a Music Player, it can easily be applied to any subject you can imagine. Check out iTunes for their FREE Educational Podcasts!!! They are great. Now Universities are also posting their podcasts on iTunes. Check out the USF-University of South Florida Podcasts. Great product, the best of it the iPhone also has an iPod :-)

This is the best way to bring the music you want into the classroom with its speaker system. Kids lvoe having their music downloaded and rady to learn. It is also great for downloading any information you need to learn for testing yourself.) You can keep a file just for your class, just for your calendar time with primary, or even cool stuff for your youth which you pick and is appropriate.
