I began as an elem ed major and switched to art history. I have approx. 2/5 years of school completed, but it's been some time since I was in school. I've had a high profile career in the commercial real estate industry, but my heart has remained working with children. Without fail, when people meet me they think I'm a teacher or offer, "you should be a teacher". I'm very good with children. They respond easily to me. I'm ready to make a career change and begin doing what I think I was always meant to do.

Your input on how to go about this would be helpful.

Do I need a degree to teach in private, Catholic or Quaker schools? Do I get any "life credit" for the work I've done over the years?
