Yikes! I just graduated with my Bachelors Degree and am pursuing a Teaching Credential.  I know California appears to not like/respect teacher...

About Me
The one thing that I have discovered is that I love to teach--whether it is about the whales that migrate off the California coast to travelers from the midwest, the joy of Algebra, the interconnections of the plants, the soil and the microrganisms or how to write from the heart, I always come back to teaching. I spent years in the ag industry--landscape design, interior plantscapes and now sustainable landscaping, but even with that, I am still happiest sharing knowledge. So, armed with this, I finished my Bachelors Degree from Hutchins School of Liberal Arts through Sonoma State University, and completed the Sustainable Landscaping for Professionals Program at SSU. Now I am pursuing my Credential and am planning to intergrate the Sustainable Landscaping with the Liberal Arts into something that can spark an interest in students while quietly teaching them about personal repsonsiblity and respect. I realize that it is a huge project, but hey, if it's not challenging, it's not fun and if it's not fun, why bother?
