Started my first job in education this past August. I am an Instructional Assistant at a K-12 alternative school. I work specifically with 6th-8th graders with emotional and behavioral disorders. I truly love it and it is a great fit for my abilities and personality.

    So how's it going? How's those inspirational moments and fantastic classroom memories been since becoming a mentor to such awesome teens? I can't wait until my first job in education, but for now volunteering at schools will have to do. Its amazing what teachers who have been through so much can teach the youths of tomorrow. Its a wonder why there aren't so many specially dedicated teachers out there like you!
