    As an IT Professional trying to get back into teaching, I found this article very helpful.
    I am already certified in NJ as a Teacher of Art (k-12) and am currently studying for the Praxis II for Elementary Education (k-5). I am hopeful that I pass the first time and can continue my move back into education at the Elementary School level.

    I was born to be a teacher I. love it deep from my heart and my students feel it.I am a substitute teacher from pre-k to 12 on my 4th years. I taught for state preschool head start program for 15 years . I have been for 20 years as paraeducator for adult high school and GED programs and for adult ESL students. I would like to teach Portuguese at junior college. I have a minor degree in Portuguese and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish.
