First of all i would like to make comment on the view of Mackinac bridge of Michigan . it is wonderful . I think Detroit city is the best for teaching jobs. Thanks.

I teach in Michigan. Most of the information here is accurate. You can actually make more your first year. SOme districts pay almost 40,000 a year to start. The districts they have listed are not the districts you would want to teach in. Some good districts are Birmingham, Bloomfield and Troy schools. You will make the most money there and have great parent support. Basically look for schools in Oakland and Macomb counties.
