It is sad how someone criticizing another for the misuse of a 'verb' as a 'noun' can simultaneously show ignorance toward sentence structure. Unfortunately your point (which is incorrect; 'quote' can be used informally as a noun, and informal does not equal wrong) is overshadowed by your use of the adjective 'prevalent' which should be the adverb 'prevalently' modifying the verb 'published' which is acting as the main verb in the sentence. If you are going to make incorrect, unnecessarily nitpicky accusations regarding the language of others then at least get your own writing straight and don't be so smug about it. I wouldn't have an issue with what you said if you weren't so smugly sure of yourself.
But these quotes are all excellent. So all negativity aside, thank you, folks at The Apple!

Quote is a verb. Quotation is the noun. It is simply astonishing to see how prevalent the misuse of quote as a noun is published by professionals. Sad really.

And think about what you learn from those students in the way of strength and perservering. I, too, work with students that no one else really wants to take the time with. These kids teach me more than I could ever teach them.

I work with students that many educators want to avoid. These are the students I want to work with. I am grateful for what I learn from them~ their experiences, and their lives! This keeps me humble! I have much respect for my students; because of this, I have had much success....
